Registration with M-Pesa, a list people chose to join, and reports you can print
People register on your event page, pay with M-Pesa and get a QR badge by email. A separate box lets them join your updates, and they confirm from their own inbox. Afterwards, reports show how it went.
Your event page, in your colours
Choose one of 14 designs, add your logo and brand colour, and share the link. The same page shows the programme and takes registrations. These are example events from a fictional organiser.
Bento
Cards for the date, the place, the tickets and a countdown.
Poster
Big type and one bold colour, for markets and gigs.
Gala
Dark, gold and formal, for black-tie evenings.
From the event page to the inbox
Register
A short form with the questions you choose. Personal questions are optional and say what they are for.
Pay
M-Pesa is the payment method today. The buyer confirms on their phone.
Badge
The QR badge is emailed to the attendee, to show on a phone or print.
Join
A separate box, never ticked for anyone, lets people join your updates. They confirm by email.
A list people chose to join
Every event page has a Keep me updated box. People tick it themselves and confirm from their own inbox, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. The wording they saw, the time and where it came from are kept with the choice.
Know how registration went.
Reports open on screen, and print or download as a PDF or a spreadsheet.
Registrations over time
Daily registrations and a running total against capacity, with a plain-language list of what stands out.
On paper, as PDF or CSV
The same reports as a branded PDF to print or send, or as a spreadsheet.
Your data, and the law
Anyone can use the privacy requests page to ask for a copy of their data, a correction or deletion. They confirm with a code sent to their email, and the request is passed to each organiser that holds data about them.
These features are built with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 in mind: consent that is recorded, requests that are answered, personal answers that are optional. That describes how the product works. It is not a promise that your use of it complies with the law, and our privacy policy is still a draft awaiting review.
What it does not do: Koiva Events keeps your update list and lets you export it, but it does not send campaigns to the list for you.
Questions about registration
How do attendees pay?
With M-Pesa. A prompt goes to the buyer's phone, and the QR badge is emailed once the payment is confirmed. M-Pesa is the only payment method today.
Are people added to my list when they register?
Only if they tick a separate box, which is never ticked for them. They then confirm from their own inbox before they are on the list.
Can I ask attendees my own questions?
Yes. Each event has its own list of questions: text, choices, yes or no, a country or a number. Personal ones are always optional, offer Prefer not to say, and never print on a badge.
What can I do with the reports?
See registrations over time against capacity and per day, open them on screen, print them or download a PDF, or take the figures into a spreadsheet.
Set up registration for your next event.
Create a workspace, choose a design for your event page and the questions you want to ask, and build it all before you publish. We review new workspaces before pages go public and payments go live, usually within one working day.
